By the end of 2008 he plans to direct a film in the scripts of M T Vasudevan Nair. The film will feature his favorite actor Mohanlal in the lead. Other details of the film are yet to be finalized.

The film has Mammootty in the lead with Kavya Madhavan for the first time opposite Mammootty. The film shoot is to start in Thiruvananthapuram with a schedule of 30 days.

The grand function reflected the culture and heritage of the state. The book has been published by DC Books and translated into Malayalam by famous writer Mr.Vishwananthan and released by notable writer T.Padmanabhan.

Markose, who will perform in a show being organised by the Kottayam District Arts and Cultural Association (Kodaca) tomorrow at Doha Cinema, was speaking at a meeting hosted by the organisers at the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC).

The President would be received at the airport by Governor R L Bhatia, Chief Minister V S Achuthanandan, his cabinet colleagues and senior officials.
