In Rathri Mazha Lenin Rajendran gets down to inter-personal relationships and throws the spotlight on an interesting paradox. The story takes off on tow dance-loving people. The two get to know each other on the internet. They exchange ideas and opinions. They understand that they have so much in common. Their sensibilities synchronize. Their world-views coincide. In a film dominated by lilting music and dance, fittingly Vineeth and Meera Jasmine form the lead pair. It is a larger-than-life opportunity for Vineeth while for Meera it is yet another chance to prove her credentials as a sensitive actress.

Others in the cast are Bhanupriya, Manoj K Jeyan, Biju Menon, Cochin Haneefa. All have well-etched out characters.
